  1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION. The Kellogg's™ Special K™ Fall Challenge Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is an online weekly sweepstakes that begins at 12:00:00 AM (ET) on 9/11/08 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 10/6/08 ("Promotion Period"). The Website's database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

  2. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period go to http://new.groups.yahoo.com/specialkgroup ("Website"), click "Join this Group" and complete the online registration to become a member of the Kellogg's™ Special K™ Challenge Group (the "Group") within Yahoo! Groups. To join the Group, you will need a Yahoo! ID. Registration for the Group and obtaining a Yahoo! ID is free and there is no need to re-register/re-join if you are already a member of the Group. Once you have completed your registration to join the Group, follow the online instructions to complete and submit your entry form for the Sweepstakes. As part of the entry process, entrants will be required to submit a success story (minimum of 25 words) describing your weight loss success through the use of Kellogg's® Special K® products. You must include a weight loss success story and the story must include reference to your use of Kellogg's® Special K® products or the entry will be void. Entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 10/6/08. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, Sponsors "receive" an entry when the Website's server(s) record the entry information upon clicking the final "Submit" (or similar) button. Proof of sending (such as an automated computer receipt confirming entry or "thanks for entering" message) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsors of an entry for purposes of this Sweepstakes. No automated entry devices, macros, bots and/or other programs and/or software are permitted for entry. All entries become the sole property of the Kellogg North America Company and True Jeans ("Sponsors") and will not be returned. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems or errors of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entries are eligible. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors and the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per person, during the Promotion Period.

    All success story submissions must be true original works, never been previously published, must not infringe on any third party rights, and may not include content which is obscene, defamatory, illegal or otherwise inappropriate for publication in general circulation. By entering the Sweepstakes, the entrant gives the Sponsors and Yahoo! the right to use, edit, and/or publish the success story without further compensation, notice, review or approval and winner assigns all rights, title and interest in the submission of their success story to the Sponsors, and, if required, will sign any documents necessary to transfer copyright. Submission of an entry further constitutes the entrant's consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to Sponsors any rights, title and interest in the success story, including, without limitation, all copyrights. Each winner may have to certify in writing that his/her success story submission is original and no other person or entity holds rights to the entry. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified. Sponsors are not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of entrants. In the event of a dispute, any entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, provided that person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or domain associated with the submitted account(s). Entrants may not enter multiple times during the Promotion Period with multiple e-mail addresses. Entrants may not participate with multiple e-mail addresses, nor may entrants use any device or artifice to enter multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or uses any other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and all entries submitted by that entrant will be void.

  3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older and the age of majority in his/her state of legal residence at the time of entry. Employees of Kellogg Company, True Jeans, Yahoo! Inc., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, immediate family members are defined as spouse, parent, in-laws, grandparents, sibling, children and grandchildren. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

  4. RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 10/10/08 from among all eligible entries received by Sponsors or their designee, the judges in this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email at Sponsors' discretion.

  5. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV)/ODDS: One (1) Grand Prize - A 3-day/2-night trip for winner and one (1) guest to Boston, MA (ARV $2,800.00). Trip includes: round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) between the major commercial airport closest to the winner's residence and Boston, MA; two-nights lodging (based on double occupancy), and a visit for winner and his/her guest to True Jeans headquarters to receive a pair of jeans each valued at $400 and a personal fitting by True Jeans specialists (subject to availability). No transfer or substitution of trip elements will be permitted except in Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner and guest must depart/return from the same major airport and travel on same itinerary. Trip does not include meals, ground transportation, tips, gratuities, service charges, laundry service, beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, airport charges, or any other expense, service or item not specifically described as being included in the prize. Trip prize must be completed by 4/15/09 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Trip prize will be scheduled by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Actual retail value of prize may vary depending on winner's residence and may fluctuate due to market conditions, changes in value of components, (e.g. air transportation and hotel rates) and other reasons. If, in Sponsors' sole discretion, air travel is not required due to winner's proximity to Boston, MA, Sponsors will substitute air transportation with ground transportation between winner's residence and hotel, and the difference in value will not be awarded. Twenty-five (25) First Prizes - A $100 Gift Card to TrueJeans.com. Total ARV of all prizes $5,300.00. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions associated with their use. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Limit one (1) prize per person. Grand Prize winner will receive a 1099 tax form for the approximate retail value of the prize. Failure to take trip within the required time frame does not relieve the winner of his or her tax obligations associated with winning the Grand Prize.

  6. GENERAL: Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days after first notification attempt. Guest of Grand Prize winner (if a minor in her/her state of residence, his/her parent or legal guardian) must sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to awarding of trip prize. If any prize notification, Sweepstakes-related communication or prize is rejected or returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner cannot be reached after a reasonable attempt has been made (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. All prize claims are subject to verification by Sponsors. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable. Subject to all federal, state and local laws/regulations. Each entrant agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsors, Yahoo!, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion agencies and each of their employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents for any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize-related activities. Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant's agreement and consent that Sponsors, Yahoo! and each of their promotional partners and third party marketing entities may use the entrant's name, voice, likeness, picture, biographical information, information contained in his/her entry and/or prize information, without limitation, for advertising, marketing or promotional purposes throughout the world, including on the Internet, without further consideration, notice, review, approval or payment, except where prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsors and Yahoo! are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Sweepstakes.

  7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsors and Yahoo! are not responsible and/or liable for any of the following, regardless of whether caused by Sponsors, Yahoo!, entrants, or human or other error: lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors or any virus, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate or incomplete transmissions of or failure to receive entry or other information by Sponsors or presenter on account of technical problems, systems or network interruptions or unavailability or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this game, the Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and to award the prize from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Sponsors. Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
