Official Terms and Conditions:

Yahoo! presents the "Yahoo! Purple Hunt Hidden Canon Digtital IXUS Camera" contest.

THE CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE PHILIPPINES ONLY. ENTRY IN THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS").

1. DEFINITIONS:

   "Administrators" means collectively employees and agents of Yahoo!, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any Prize sponsor, and any entity or individual involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Contest.

   "Contest" means the "Yahoo! Purple Hunt Hidden Canon Digital IXUS Camera" contest to be held in the Philippines during the Contest Period.

   "Contest Page" means the url at yahoo.com.ph/purplehunt where the Contest details are located.

   "Contest Period" means the period beginning at 12am on 16th June 2009 and expiring 11.59pm on 29 June 2009.

   "Entrant" means an individual who is eligible to enter the Contest and who has successfully submitted a completed Entry in the prescribed manner.

   "Entry" means the completing and submitting of the users registration details and response to the question located at the Contest Page in accordance with paragraph 3.

   "Prize" means a prize as described in paragraph 4.

   "Yahoo!" means Yahoo! Philippines Services Inc., of 14th Floot Net Cube Centre, 3rd Avenue Centre 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1634 .

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Entrant must (a) be resident in the Philippines, (b) 18 years or older at the time of participating in the Contest, and (b) provide his/her registration details (in the manner described in the Contest Page) during the Contest Period. The registration details must have been received by Yahoo! during the Contest Period for the Entrant to qualify for the Contest. The immediate family members of any Yahoo! Administrators, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. No purchase is necessary in order to be eligible for this Contest.
3. SUBMISSION OF ENTRY: All Entries must be received by Yahoo! before the end of the Contest Period. Entrants must identify the locations of cameras hidden randomly across Manila, Philippines via online clues provided on the Yahoo! Philippines network that will be released progressively over a 2 week period. Upon identifying the locations of one or more cameras, Entrants will be required to submit an Entry identifying such location(s). Entries that are submitted before or after the defined date and time on the Contest Page will be disqualified. The submission of Entries by automated means or other unauthorized means (including but not limited to the submission of Entries using any bot, script or macro, or the submission of copies, facsimiles and/or mechanical reproductions of Entries) are not permitted. All (a) incomplete Entries, (b) Entries containing inaccurate particulars of the Entrant or incomplete or irrelevant Entries to the Contest, and (c) Entries which in Yahoo! opinion are obscene vulgar or otherwise may offend the public will be disqualified.
4. PRIZE AND PRIZE SELECTION: The prize for the Contest is a Canon digital camera (subject to availability).��� Any pictures used to promote the prize are for information only.��� . Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and no substitution of prizes is allowed. Yahoo! will select 6 winners at random from amongst the correct Entries on 30 June 2009. Yahoo!'s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. CONDUCT:By participating in the Contest, all Entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these Official Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Contest. Entrants further agree to comply with and be bound by all decisions of Yahoo!, which will be final, conclusive and binding in all respects. Yahoo! reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant found to be: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the submission of Entries, the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any Yahoo! property or service; (b) violating these Official Terms and Conditions or any applicable law or regulation; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any Yahoo! property or service; or (d) acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person during the Contest Period. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. IN THE EVENT OF ANY SUCH ATTEMPT, THE ADMINISTRATORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
6. CONDITIONS FOR THE PRIZES: Only the Prizes will be awarded and no substitutions (for example, for cash or equivalents) or redemptions will be made, except that Yahoo! reserves the right, but is not obliged, to substitute any part or all of a Prize with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that such Prize (or any component thereof) is not available. Reporting and payment of all applicable taxes, fees and/or surcharges, if any, arising out of or resulting from the acceptance or use of a Prize are the sole responsibility of the relevant Prize Winner. Yahoo! reserves the right to select the mode and method as to how each Prize is to be sent or given to or collected by the relevant Prize Winner. Yahoo! expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any damage, injury or loss to or suffered by any person, entity or property directly or indirectly arising from or relating to the delivery, collection and/or subsequent use of any Prize. Yahoo! makes no representations or warranties concerning the quality, performance or safety of any Prize. Where the Prize is the right or entitlement to attend an event organised by any person other than Yahoo!, such other person is solely responsible for that event and Yahoo! is not responsible and will have no liability for the conduct (including cancellation) of that event. Yahoo! is not obliged to and will not replace any Prize with a similar prize or any other prizes, in the event the relevant Prize Winner and/or his/her designee or nominee are unable to enjoy the Prize.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each Prize Winner will be notified via e-mail within 10days after the last day for submission of entries. Except where prohibited by law, each Prize Winner may be required to sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or a Liability/ Publicity Release (or equivalent document(s)) and provide any additional document or information (such as Identity Card or Passport number, email address and mailing address) that may be required by the Administrators. Except where prohibited by law, each Prize Winner must forward all required documents within two (2) working days following notification by Yahoo! that he/she has won a Prize, failing which the relevant Prize may be forfeited. The return of any Prize or any Prize notification as undeliverable, or any inability of the Administrators to contact a Prize Winner, may, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Administrators, result in the disqualification of that Prize Winner and the selection of an alternate Prize Winner based on the same criteria as stated in paragraph 4 above
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: All references to time in these Official Terms and Conditions shall be to local Singapore time. The laws of Singapore govern these Official Terms and Conditions. By entering the Contest each Entrant hereby agrees to:
   1. release and hold harmless the Administrators, Yahoo! and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, directors, officers, employees, representatives, licensees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to persons, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Prize, participation in the Contest, or while travelling to, preparing for or participating in any Prize-related activity, except for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of any such person;
   2. at his/her own expense, indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Administrators, Yahoo! and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, directors, officers, employees, representatives, licensees and agents from and against and in respect of any and all claims, liabilities, allegations, suits, actions, investigations, judgments, deficiencies, settlements, inquiries, demands or other proceedings of whatever nature or kind, whether formal or informal, brought against the Administrators, Yahoo! or its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, directors, officers, employees, representatives, licensees or agents, as well as from and against and in respect of any and all damages, liabilities, losses, costs, charges, fees and expenses, including without limitation legal fees and expenses (on a full indemnity basis), as and when incurred, directly or indirectly relating to, based upon, incident to, arising from, or in connection with:
      1. any breach by the Entrant of these Official Terms and Conditions;
      2. any breach by the Entrant of any applicable law; or
      3. any impending civil or criminal proceedings affecting or possibly affecting Yahoo! arising from the participation of the Entrant in the Contest.
   Each Entrant further agrees that he/she may not, without Yahoo!'s prior written consent, enter into any settlement or compromise of any claim that results in any admission of liability or wrongdoing on the part of Yahoo!.
9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Yahoo! and the Administrators assume no responsibility and are not responsible or liable in any way for:
   1. any lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated Entries;
   2. any theft, destruction or alteration of, or unauthorized access to, any Entries;
   3. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Entries in the Contest;
   4. any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing; and
   5. any injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Contest.
   If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Administrators which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest), the Administrators may at their sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and select any or all of the Prize Winners based on the eligible Entries received prior to the cancellation, termination, modification or suspension of the Contest, based on the criteria as stated in paragraph 4 above, to the maximum extent applicable and possible.
10. PRIVACY AND TERMS OF SERVICE:By entering the Contest, the Entrant agrees to Yahoo!'s use of the Entrant's personal information as described in Yahoo!'s Privacy Policy, located��� at http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/sg/promo/details.html. The Entrant also agrees to abide by the Terms of Service located at http://sg.docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ and whose terms, in addition to the Privacy policy are incorporated herein. Each Entrant agrees to grant Yahoo! the right to use and publish his/her proper name, photographs, personal details and other information online and in print or any other media, in connection with the Contest and all related advertising, promotional and marketing activities (whether before or after the Contest). Except where prohibited by law, each Prize Winner's acceptance of the relevant Prize constitutes the irrevocable and perpetual permission for the Administrators to use the Prize Winner's name, address (neighborhood or estate only), statements, photograph, voice and/or likeness for any advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Contest anywhere in the world without any further compensation, consideration, review or consent from that Prize Winner.

12. ASSIGNMENT:The Entrant agrees that Yahoo! may assign its rights and give all of its benefits under this letter to any party, including Yahoo! Southeast Asia Pte. Ltd. ��� or any of its affiliates, without need for your consent.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES:These Official Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law. The Entrant agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts in respect of all disputes arising hereunder.
