Stay on Messenger Through Your Mobile
Easily Send a SMS from your PC

You can now access Yahoo! Messenger "on-the-go" using your mobile phone. Yahoo! SMS Messenger is a new feature that makes it easy to sign in to Yahoo! Messenger on your mobile phone when you are away from your PC. Your friends will see you as "I'm on SMS" and will be able to send messages directly to your device. You can now leave your desk for lunch or for the day and still stay in touch with your friends and family through your mobile phone.
To sign in from your phone: To sign in from your computer:

Type [in] [Yahoo! ID] [password] without the brackets on your mobile phone and send it 32235 (for Maxis subscribers), 39466 (for Celcom subscribers).

If your sign in is successful, you will receive a message from Yahoo! with a list of your online Friends.

Click the "Messenger" menu of your main Yahoo! Messenger window. Select "Sign in to Mobile Device" from the list.

You will be taken through a series of steps to validate your phone number and set up the service. Upon finishing the process, the "Sign in to Mobile Device" menu item will show your phone number.

After you have registered your device, select the Login to Mobile Device menu item with your phone number. You will be logged out of the PC and logged onto your mobile phone.

Once you have successfully logged in, your friends will see you as "I'm on SMS" and will be able to send messages directly to your device. You can now leave your desk for lunch or for the day and keep in touch with your friends and family on your mobile phone.*
