About Yahoo! and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Cindy Crawford and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are working together to bring cancer awareness to Yahoo! users. During the months of September and October 2006, the Society will be hosting a charity walk called Light The Night Walk in your local neighborhood (United States and Canada).

Thousands of walkers will be carrying illuminated balloons—white for survivors and red for supporters-to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Walkers will raise funds to support the Society's mission: cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Anyone can take part—children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual Walk with no fitness requirements. Incentives can be earned for different fundraising levels.
