Yahoo!7- Operation Red Carpet! Terms and Conditions

By entering the Operation Red Carpet! (the “Competition”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of AUSTRALIA. If the major prize winner is under the age of eighteen (18) years as at the date of the draw, a parent or guardian must accompany the winner in participation of this prize.
2.2 Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of Yahoo!7 Pty Limited, Seven Network (Operations) Limited, SCA Hygiene Australasia Pty Ltd, mNet Corporation Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Sunday 4th May 2008 @ 00.01 (AEDT) and concludes on Saturday 21st June 2008 @ 23.59 (AEST).
3.2 In order to enter, participants must register their name, email address, address (including postcode), daytime telephone number (including STD area code), at http://advision.webevents.yahoo.com/greysanatomy/ during the Competition period and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
3.4 All entrants who provide details as stated in clause 3.2 will be entered in the competition draws.
3.5 There will be five (5) minor draws and one (1) major draw as shown in the table below.

3.6 Entrants in the Competition may enter a maximum of five (5) times a week, but may not use “scripting” for multiple entries (which will be deemed invalid).
3.7 Entries must be received by dates and times stated in clause 3.5 for weekly draws and by Saturday 21June 2008 @ 23.59 (AEST) for the major draw.

4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) major prize winner and five (5) minor prize winners.
The prize packages include:

4.2 Total prize value is $45,324.25 (inc GST). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 The major prize winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses incurred in relation to the prize, including but not limited to, spending money (unless specified), meals (unless specified), travel insurance, airport / government taxes (including departure tax), incidentals, activities (unless specified), passports, visas, travel to and from departure point (unless specified), all transfers other than those specified, insurance and all other ancillary costs. Unless expressly state all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner and their companion. The Promoter strongly recommends travel insurance valid for the entire duration of the winner’s holiday, to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
4.4 Travel and accommodation must be booked by Friday 1st August 2008.
4.5 The travel component of the prize is valid for 12 months from the date of the draw. If a winner is unable to travel and attend the 2008 Prime Time Emmy Awards this prize element (including associated prize elements) will be forfeited.
4.6 The major prize winner and their travelling companion must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth). Tickets will not be exchanged for another destination.

4.7 Travel and accommodation is subject to availability during peak periods and cannot be altered for other destinations.
4.8 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners agree to granting the Promoter a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.9 Prizes can be transferred but not redeemed for cash. Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
4.10 If the major prize winner is under the age of eighteen (18) years as at the date of the draw, a parent or guardian must accompany the winner in participation of this prize.
4.11 Major Prize includes travel coordination by dedicated travel specialist, booking of air, hotel, activities and provision of a day by day itinerary.
4.12 SCA Hygiene Australasia Pty Ltd is responsible for all costs associated with prizes in respect of this competition.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) major prize winner and five (5) minor prize winners drawn from entries received throughout the competition period as specified in clause 3. Each entrant who has entered the Competition by the closing date and time and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into draw. The weekly minor winners will be drawn on Monday 12th, 19th, 26th May, 2nd  and 23rd June 2008 @ 10.00 (AEST).  The major draw will be held on Monday 23rd  June 2008 @ 10:15 AEST.  All draws will take place at m.Net Corporation Ltd., Level 2, 8 Leigh Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000.
5.2 Winners will be contacted by phone within 2 days of the draw, and a letter advising winners of their prize will also be express posted.  Winners will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 2nd June 2008 (draws 1, 2 and 3 winners) and Monday 23rd June 2008 (draws 4,and 5 and major winner).
5.3 If required an unclaimed prize draw will be held on Monday 6th October 2008 @ 10:00 AEST. The winner will receive the travel component of the prize as the 2008 Prime Time Emmy Awards Event date will have passed. The winners’ details will be published in the public notices of The Australian on Monday Monday 13th October 2008.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their companion must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their companion may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to government legislation.
6.2 Yahoo!7 Pty Limited, SCA Hygiene Australasia Pty Ltd and m.Net Corporation Ltd their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Yahoo!7 Pty Limited, SCA Hygiene Australasia Pty Ltd and m.Net Corporation Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur during the promotion.
6.4 Yahoo!7 Pty Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to government legislation.

7.3 By entering this Competition you agree to Yahoo!7’s use of your personal information as described on Yahoo!'s Privacy Policy http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/au. All entries become the property of Yahoo!7 and by clicking the box to be included on a Yahoo!7 database Yahoo!7 may include your name in future mail, email, SMS or other campaigns.
