Terms and Conditions - No Country For Old Men
1. Entry is open to Australian residents only.
2. Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of Yahoo! and associated agencies are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
3. The Promotion is conducted by Yahoo! Australia & NZ Pty Levels 2 & 3 Pier 8/9, 23 Hickson Road, Millers Point NSW 2000 ABN 60 089 187 100) ("Yahoo!").
4. The "No Country For Old Men” Promotion (the "Promotion") commences at 10.00am AEST on 21st April 2008 and closes at 12pm AEST on 15th May 2008.
5. Entry is only open to Australian residents who submit their contact details and provide an answer to the ‘No Country For Old Men’ Competition question.
6. The selection of winners will be finalised no later than 1 hour after the date specified in condition 4. The judges will choose the winners judged as the entrants with the most creative and original responses. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize pool consists of 1 x major winner - AUD $5,000 and 10 x prize packs - valued at AUD$300 each. Each runner up pack (1) contains No Country For Old Men/ Paramount Vantage DVD pack containing:
Total Runner Up Prize pool AUD$3,000
Total Competition Prize Value AUD$8,000
7. If a Prize winner is unable to be contacted or attend, the Prize will default to the next entry deemed the most original and creative by the judges.
8. The judges' decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
9. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other currencies. Major prize winner u[pon being contacted must provide bank account details for a direct transfer of the AUD$5,000 prize money. No cheques or other money substitutes will be included. Winners must abide by the specified Terms and Conditions as included./
10. If the Prize is not available, Yahoo!7 reserves the right to substitute that Prize for another of equal or greater value. All other costs are the responsibility and at the expense of the winner.
11. In the event of a dispute, Yahoo!7's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Subject to any restrictions in law, the liability of Yahoo!7 however arising, whether by breach of any condition or warranty implied by statute or of this agreement or of any duty of tort (including negligence) is limited to the total value of the Prize.
13. Yahoo!7 will not be held liable for and will be held harmless from any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from a Prize-winner and their companion's acceptance of the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. In addition to any other rights, Yahoo!7 reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
15. Yahoo!7 not accept responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, illegible or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur.
